The hotel makes a strong first impression with its modern architecture, solid construction, and spacious layout, similar to well-designed international conference hotels. The Italian restaurant on site was also pleasant and a clear positive during our stay.
However, the overall experience was held back by service and management shortcomings. With better staff training and more attention to detail, the hotel could significantly improve guest satisfaction. A few examples:
Breakfast quality: While the pastries looked appealing, they tasted bland and did not seem fresh. The cappuccino was served with caramel syrup and whipped cream by default, which also came with an extra charge. This felt unexpected for a standard breakfast offering.
Room cleanliness: Our room was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. There was noticeable hair and dust on the floor, including under the bed, which suggested insufficient housekeeping checks.
Noise from air circulation: The room’s air circulation system appeared to have a technical issue. The running noise was loud enough to disturb our sleep.
As a transit hotel with few nearby alternatives, it gives the impression that the hotel can rely on location while maintaining a lower service level. With stronger management focus and improved service standards, the hotel has clear potential to better match the quality of its physical infrastructure.
