"Nice little one night stopover visiting Bude. Ample parking and easy to find. Straight road into Bude. A little isolated so make sure you buy supplies from Bude on the way back. A few spiderwebs and bugs in the room when we arrived but only because the window was left open thankfully because it was such a hot day. Paula the host was very helpful and friendly start to finish. Will stay again if we visit Bude again."

"We had a lovely one night stay. The room was so cute and cosy “13” it was like stepping back in time but with modern amenities. The bed was super comfortable. I had a great nights sleep. Dinner was lovely,as was the breakfast. Staff we friendly and very accommodating. Only downside was that it’s very dog friendly in all areas. Something we aren’t used to in Australia, where they are banned from most places unless they are service dogs. I highly rate the passion fruit cocktails."

There are 2 sleeping rooms, separated by a corridor and living/diningroom, with both a bathroom en-suite. One has a kingbed and the other a double bed. "We had a lovely short stay at the Sunrise. The hosts contacted us prior to arrival to forewarn us of the road closures for the Bude Carnival and allowing us flexibility with check in (should we have required it) because of the event. When arriving we were met with a warm and friendly welcome. We had a wonderful stay and the breakfasts both mornings were excellent. The B&B is decorated to a high standard and has a lovely cosy welcoming feel. Would recommend and will stay there again on future visits."
