The staff were friendly and helpful. The waterfall shower was excellent. I wasn't a fan of the mattress though. Breakfast was decent. Good value stay in a lovely city.

A good base for travelling round Budapest near to public transport so easy to get around the city. Room was clean and comfortable for our stay

I have been in 20 countries around the world, including Africa and Asia, staying in hostal, apartments, etc and this is by far the worst hotel, the dirtiest and most neglected that I have been. I couldn't stay in here, I rather lose my money, that was already unfair that spend a night here.

Boutique hotel park
Arrived and checked in ok however booked two rooms and one was for friends. They scanned our passports and later told me the rooms were paid for without asking if i was ok to pay the lot. They just took the money off my card and didnt check. We have stayed here a number of times and this one we felt deflated aa it has gone downhill. Our tv didnt work which in fairness they fixed but the room smelt but our friends reported the same. Overall disappointed and probably wont return

The property is clean. They offer breakfast with a good price and meals. Close to main train station, subway, and bus line. I feel that the neighborhood is a bit unsafe though.

It was a really lovely property, the host attentive, check in easy. However (huge), all of the lights in common areas were on automatic, and it's impossible to turn them off or on manually. Taking a shower, you're left in the dark, same when taking a crap. The light in kitchen the turns on and off every 30 seconds or so, maddening. It's a real shame!

Outperforms it’s star rating comfortably. Great location if arriving in Budapest by train. Plenty of dining options nearby. Clean, comfortable room, strong wifi, good shower. Supermarket across the road. Would book again.

The advertised room we booked online was not as we requested. Bathroom was unclean with mould. No tea/coffee facilities, chewing gum found stuck on bed board and visible damp on ceiling.

Very disappointing. If I were to go back, I would book a different hotel. There were a lot of flying bugs in the room, water leaked from the shower when there is no sewer on the bathroom floor thus creating a big puddle, you can hear the music your neighbor is listening to, and the sink was clogged as well. Not to mention the peeling wall paints.

Great hotel
This hotel was in an awesome location if you are travelling to Budapest by train, being only 5 mins from Keleti station. It was comfortable enough although I prefer a slightly softer bed, it didn’t stop me sleeping well, very well soundproofed. The breakfast buffet was great and the room was well appointed.

The quality of the rooms is very poor! The beds are not comfortable at all!!! We asked for help from the hotel, we were even willing to pay as much as needed to be upgraded to a room with a comfortable bed, we explained that we have back problems and cannot sleep all night. We were told that this is what there is and they have no way to help us. The response was unpleasant, with an uncaring attitude and unpleasant tones at all. I asked them to try to think of a solution. In the evening we approached again, we asked for blankets to put on the bed to make it softer as the only solution we could think of, they told us it was our problem and they wouldn't give us any blanket and that this is what we chose. Very sad! Every request or question was not answered, the level of service was terrible and unpleasant to say the least. I do not recommend the hotel at all, a very unpleasant experience and ruins the whole vacation.

Brilliant hotel..parking fees let it down.
Room was ama inv with all mod cons..ie kettle..tv..usb points etc...very very comfortable bedas..cosy...bathroom spotless...would stay here again...your right in center of Budapest..however charges for parking a big no no.

The biggest selling point is its proximity with the Keleti Central station for train travelers, and the very reasonable pricing. It is also fully served by the metro, trams and buses (just buy a very economical 72 hour all-in public transport ticket ) to go round the whole Budapest.

I honestly would never stay there or recommend anyone staying there. I had to change rooms 3 times because of the filth and urine aroma. The staff was helpful and nice but the facilities were absolutely trash.

This is the hotel for you if you ... - like the smell of drain effluent in your bathroom; - very poor room maintenance - headboard shelf not fixed to the wall, lights not working, generally poor condition; - if you yearn for a poor breakfast selection of items past their prime; and - 'service' that, in my experience, is unforgettable (for all the wrong reasons). I've never given a review before, but have done so to help fellow customers have eyes wide open as to what to expect at this hotel.

Good hotel with great location at Central station
Great hotel for the price. The location is less than a minute from the Hauptbanhoff and the Hop On Hop Off bus service. The rooms are small but have good ventilation and air conditioning. Good breakfast in the morning. Sabena at the front desk was extremely helpful and guided us with our hop on bus service which turned out to be great. The locality may not be top notch but it is safe. Value hotel.
