Highly recommended! Spacious with 3 rooms, equipped kitchen, clean, quiet, safe, easy check in. Most especially the host was very accommodating let us check in early, helpful gave tips and communication was very easy. Location is close to businesses and transportation. A home away from home. We will surely stay here again!

Exceptional service, location and cleanliness.

Thanks to Amanda and the team for an excellent stay. The property is located perfectly for exploring Budapest, was very clean and well maintained and had ample amenities and space for my needs. Communication and check in / check out instructions were very clear. All in all, a very easy, very pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend Grand Budapest Apartments for business or personal travel, and will stay here again if I am ever back in Budapest.

A very special birthday!

Myself and 3 friends had a fantastic stay at Grand Budapest Penthouse. I had mentioned to Luca that we were celebrating my birthday and they put a bottle of wine, bottle of champaign, and a box of chocolates in my room! They helped make my celebrations extra special. The room was clean and in a great location. Luca offered to help us book a river boat tour, offered recommendations, and was very helpful. Super friendly service!

Used as a base for the Hungarian Grand Prix. Perfect location for public transport and access to the Budapest nightlife, within minutes of the Ruin Bars. From the outside, the building looks tired but the apartment was modern, clean and met all our needs. The communication from Amanda and the team was fantastic, from the start when needing to access the building after hours, arrival tea/coffee in property, recommended bars and restaurants, offers of transfers to the airport, extra towels, easy check out - they couldn't do enough for us, they were amazing.

We had a great 3 night stay here. Luta was very helpful as she made suggestions about the arra and also asked how things arw ith the apartment. The area is safe and close to everything we need including some of the must-see areas like the Synagogue, Basilica and the New York Cafe. Its not perfect but very few things I wished was better like better/more toiletries and maybe instructions on how to use the apartment facilities like the window blinds. Btw, thank you for the welcome drink! It made our day coming from the airport.

Perfect stay

It was much better than expected. Location is at a calm place about 10 min walk to center of Pest. A few minutes walk to metro station. Lots of shops and eating, drinking places around. Reception girl, Luca, is very helpful And friendly. Apartment is clean, comfy and has everything you would need, even a balcony. Coffee machine, owen, washing machine, dish washer, hair dryer, kettle etc. Tv had over 300 channels. Honestly cant think of something negative about this stay.

Deceptive photos on site

I chose this place due to the pictures on Hotels.com. I wish the pictures were more accurate. I didn't receive the apartment shown on site; it was a different one, somewhat smaller and under the roof. The price paid does not reflect the quality of the accommodation at all. The apartment showed signs of wear and tear beyond normal levels (everywhere, doors, floor, in the kitchen, bathroom, and each room). Stay away or choose wisely when booking with them.

We were surprisingly satisfied. Since it was cheap we didnt expect that good quality. The apartment was very close to the area we spent time in. Good service and aleays available if you had questions.

These are not non-smoking apartments

Luca was a wonderful host and very communicative but unfortunately the property was not fit to stay at and we checked out within an hour of arriving. My husband uses an inhaler for a asthmatic cough and is unable to tolerate smoke in indoor spaces. The 3 bedroom we booked was supposed to be non-smoking but it was filled with the smell of smoke. He was unable to stop coughing incessantly while we were there and I would have had to take him to the emergency room had we stayed on property any longer. There was an old man sitting outside of our apartment smoking a pipe as well and whenever we opened the door to go in or out his smoke also entered the apartment. I expressed our concern to Luca and she offered us other apartments but my husband was too affected by the smoke for us to stay on this property. We checked out immediately and checked into a true non-smoking wonderful property where my husband was able to get his cough under control. I asked Luca for a refund due to the fact that she had not delivered what we had paid for but she refused. We lost our payment in full on 1 hour in this horrible apartment.
