AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Countless issues!
I read the reviews for this apartment as we were travelling Budapest to watch the World Athletics Championships. I really wish we had chosen another place to stay. PLEASE NOTE first and foremost that air conditioning is NOT included as the listing suggests and 35 degree heat meant we had to pay the 60 Euro demanded plus the 50 Euro deposit. This is when you actually manage to get in the front door which seemed to be permanently locked! I spent most of the week letting weary travellers into the main door as it was awful watching them stand in the heat wondering how on eartth to get into the hotel! The chaos continued when we tried to use the oven - there was not a single oven tray/pan - anything to allow us to actually USE the oven! The microwave button was broken meaning we couldn't start and stop the microwave. We got through the weekend then Monday morning at 7.30am the hammering started directly underneath! This continued every day and looking out of the window, I could see that they were renovating the apartments below - breeze block walls, new flooring - the lot! We left the apartment every day to escape the noise so please don't visit for a romantic trip away! Location was OK - close to shops etc but the apartment let down our trip hugely. The woman on reception was nasty and rude and we did not feel welcome so we did not dare to approach them for ANYTHING throughout our stay. I would most definitely NOT stay here again. Hotel.com have been very helpful.

Great apartment, booked because had 3 seperate bed not all on same room (2 queensize beds in seperate bedrooms and double sofa bed in livingroom). Ideal location for walking or transport links just round the corner. Plenty of local shops 2 mins away, a Spar, bakery and McDonald's to name a few. Clean, Spacious with seperate toilet and bathroom. Only one issue was the showerhead was not secured so had to hold when using but this was a minor thing for a brilliant 3 night stay.. would recommend

This apartment was amazing. The location and access was very easy and it was a great place with everything needed within the apartment. I have no negatives, other than maybe one extra pillow on the bed as they could get flat. However for price aNd location this is a 5 star place.

It is a pity that during check-in, they did not show a little more empathy for guests whose luggage did not arrive on the flight. You could ask how to help.Please remember to clean the room it is not done alone

Does everything you would expect at such a reasonable price. Apartment was clean and functional. External area doesn't look overly appealing but completely different once you walk into the apartment :) Great location too!

It was a fantastic experience. The location is very good. The place was absolutely spotless. Cosy appointment with wifi, snd sll you need for a couples of days. The 24/hour reception staff was extremely helpful, professional and fast. Extremely satisfied. Good value for money

The tv was very bad connection it kept freezing. Sofa bed was very hard. The property was extremely hot with no option to turn down heat leading to window being left open and cigarette smoke from adjacent apartments blowing in throughout the night.

Unfortunately we have a temporary central problem with our TV systems, and we need to solve the re-wiring in all of our 105 apartments, which may take until the end of February. heating in the apartments can be individually controlled. Each apartment has a radiator. Reception is available 24 hours a day if our guests need help. Kind Regards

Internet never worked / Staff not cooperative
Internet never worked for me, asked many times staff for help, but nothing. Not acceptable that nowadays in the city center of a capital city they dont have a proper internet connection. Moreover during last evening I have notified an alarm sound connected to a gas lacking next to my flat and they acted very slow, meanwhile I could be in danger for explosion right next to my bedroom. NOT RECOMMENDED

It was a great position. Bus from airport drops you quite near to the accommodation. You could leave your luggage there, this allowed you to get straight on the underground/tram and start your sightseeing

The apartment was a dirty when we arrived, they do not give daily cleaning, I asked them several times to the room and they never went .I travel with my dog and the place said to be a dog friendly however they came to ask me not to let the dog pee in the garden?, after very bad customer service attention I had to leave two days earlier before the check out to a different hotel and they did not reimburse me the money for those days.

We got apartment on top floor and because of hot day it was completely hot. There is no air conditioning for bedrooms and no fan. When we came to reception, their answer was not like they want us to help. Next day they said we will provide Fan but when we came back to hotel at evening we had no fan. Kids and family suffered. Bad thing was, there is no housekeeping, no soap, shampoo-conditioner...

Nice clean apartment with everything we needed
I have knocked a star off condition for two reasons the front door had had an accident and they are refurbishing the reception so first impressions were not as good as they mightve been. They have polite helpful staff. Clean comfortable apartment with everything you need for a pleasant stay. It’s in walking distance of most places (we like to walk) and was quiet. The communal outdoor areas would be lovely in summer but not with the snow we had!

Good location for transport from airport used 200E bus then metro to within 200 metres of apartment also good access to city centre transport. Mattress and pillows lumpy. In need of a pair of curtains instead of one but otherwise good, quiet and secure. When booking only bath was mentioned but there was also a shower over bath. Receptionists were helpful and we were able to leave bags after checking out.

We started our trip at Corvin for 3 nights there. Se traveled around the country and came back to Budapest and decided to go to Corvin Apartments again. We liked the play structure in the courtyard for our 4 year old. We like having a washing machine and refrigerator. We liked being in a location that was close to the subway and streetcar, McDonald's and other shops. We had no complaints from our group of seven.

Family trip to Budapest.
We had a one bedroom apartment with a large living room and kitchen. Very comfortable beds. The staff was very helpful.The hotel is close to stores and public transport. It was also close to restaurants. We recommend you visit restaurants on Raday street ( 10 min. walk from Hotel).

Nice apt., clean and with all the mod cons. AC cools only one room, not the bedroom. Staff a bit curt: maybe overburdened with their duties: the policy of the place is to charge for every consideration, like €15 for 1-hr late checkout; €5 per night for AC, €200 for a lost keycard (apparently they don't have the technology to re-code the locks via a new card, like most hotels, etc.). More than one person needs, but very good for a couple or family.

Good stay
We enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The rooms were clean and location was great. Lots of things to see and do within walking distance. We enjoyed the somewhat good bathroom and shower. In Europe it's still a little hard to find a room with a good bathroom. We were somewhat surprised that after booking they basically state that they can add many more additional fees and the fee list also mentions, at the bottom, that it isn't a comprehensive list. But overall the fee's weren't necessary. They require putting up about 15,000 Hungarian Forint's (Cash, not credit card) when you show up so make a stop at an ATM beforehand. This wasn't clear to us when booking via Expedia. You'll receive that 15,000 back when you checkout as long as you don't have damages to the room. We also had to pay 4% city tax when we got there as well. That was not in the Expedia charges they said. There's a close ATM if you go out to the large soldier statue and turn right. You'll need to go farther away to find an ATM inside a Bank. They'll charge 200 Euro if you lose your room key. Use downloadable Maps on your smartphone to get around. One good app is Maps.Me One can possibly save a little by going to their own website and ordering. It isn't clear, but if you book a stay of 3 nights or more, they will pay for a taxi ride to the airport. (We paid about $26 for the taxi) The front desk is manned 24 hours a day. Staff speak more English than average.

Great stay!
Good location, very comfortable and clean, fair price. Staff initially gave us room without a balcony, but were professional in accommodating the request and switching our room. LOVED the balcony! Thank you! Bedroom could have used reading light (s) to supplement the harsh overhead light. Offering small packets of laundry soap at desk or in apartment would have been really helpful.

NOT a quiet street
I have stayed in other serviced apartments within the Corvin Plaza complex so this one was disappointing. Not located within the Corvin Plaza shopping complex but on a non descript street, the nightly noise kept me up till 3am every night. It looks like a quiet street but when I arrived construction workers were having a fight that resulted in an ambulance. Partiers yelling, screaming, laughing and banging on doors in early am hours made my stay very unpleasant. Part of the challenge I suspect is that the management is ACROSS the street and down a few meters so they dont realize the drunks cannot find their way back to the apartment. That said, the apartment was fine, clean enough. Sadly if you have a laptop it will NOT fit into the very small in room safe.

We stayed overnight as a stopover before going to the airport in the morning. The garage was broken so we had to park in their other garage down the street. There was a lot of security to get into the building, but the door to our room didnt work well. The room was spacious but spartan. Good for an overnight stay. A bit far from things if we didn't have a car

This was our second stay. Staff even made sure we had same room as before. Love the location. Close to transportation, shopping, restaurants, even the English speaking Catholic Church. Will stay again our next trip to Budapest.

Big rooms!
Very large nice flats, which was clean and well presented. We had a nice balcony which was very large and I'm sure would be very nice to sit out on in the summer months. Not that much to do in immediate area around hotel, but very good transport links (Metro M3 and Trams 4/6 close by) and only 25 minute walk into city centre. Cleaning isn't carried out everyday but can be done on request and our flat didn't need it. Slight problem with shower and curtains in our flat but they weren't big and so we didn't contact the front desk, although I'm sure these could have been sorted if we had. Good city, lots to do and really enjoyed our stay.

OK for only one night
Not the best location. Noisy from midnight to after 300 am. Never slept. Seemed like it was a hotel where all the drunk teenagers end up.

The hotel is opened for all of our guests, and we can not close out young friends, if they would liek to come here and enjoy their holiday. You know young guys are sometimes weird, but they make colourful the life and this is their beuty. If you wish to spend your holiday in a more calm and silent place, we would suggest not to book in thw city center, where the night life is so vivid. Hope next to this opinion about the other guests, you were satisfied with our service.

Room had broken furniture and booking specified a double bed however it was a sofa bed. TV did not work on day one but was fixed to next day. Hotel is in a side street and there was a homeless man sleeping at the door upon our arrival.
