Dirty carpet, uncomfortable bed, no bath fan, noisy and old air conditioner. No elevator access to 6th floor. The good thing is: very close to central train station and subway station. And the reception staff is very helpful

Great location
Nice hotel, convenient location to the train station, metro and buses to get around the city. The room is clean, very basic, bathroom has everything you need. The breakfast is from 7 to10am every day, with decent options of food and hot or cold drinks. The staff are very helpful, spoke English and check in was nice and smooth. Overall nice hotel, great location, and helpful and friendly staff. I will stay here again.

Excellent location for train travel. Pleasant people, helpful. Could do with a bit of work. E. G. Carpets in need of cleaning/replacing. Strong smell of chlorine from bathroom. Overall pleasant, good economy property.

For the price, it was good. We stayed in a room with 3 single beds. The hotel had necessities and it’s perfect when you don’t really spend time in the hotel and don’t want to pay having luxuries. That said, we could hear noice from the next room or the hallway, so take earbuds. Also at breakfast they run out of things (bread, fruit, dishes, juice from the machine) and we weren’t there even too late, so seemed they are not prepared for the number of people staying there. So recommending making the effort to go early. Also in the room for 3 there was only one socket easily available. Friendly warning, the hotel hasn’t been updated in a while. It’s mostly ok, just don’t expect something else. Staff was helpful and sheets clean, got towels fresh everyday. Not sure if would go again, also not a regret.

Hotel na vybornom mieste priamo pri stanici metra, vlakov, autobusov pri stanici Keleti. Izba priemerna nepotešila ničím vynimočním le ani neurazila. Convenient location
Hotel is located near Keleti train station. Just Google and you will find it’s located near the sZechenyi thermal baths / buda castle / fisherman bastion / parliament. The bus network in Budapest is efficient. Be careful of suspicious characters on the street leading to the hotel.

While the location is great, the hotel seems fine, there is far too much that needs to be improved. There is no privacy curtain on any of the windows, only sheer on the 3 bedrooms and the broken roll up blinds. All 3 bedrooms had broken roll up blinds! For 7 people we were supplied with bedding for 6, towels for 5. The heat is not adjustable, which makes the stay especially uncomfortable in the living room/bedroom. The entrance door of the suite has an un-adjustable grill (probably for some weird fire safety reason). The outside air (ab. 31 Fahrenheit the night we stayed here) freely floats in, while like I mentioned, the heat cannot be raised, the floor is ceramic tile, and few meters from the door in that very room there was a bed with the slimmest cover for the sleeping guest. There is only one area rug in the whole suite, which is to cover in an other room the extreme wear on the wood floor. It looks as this suite was just acquired by the hotel, in the rush furnished with beds for 7 and pretty much that is all. No hangers for towels, etc. Far from comfortable stay. Certainly the weakest contender in the hotel category amongst the places we stayed at in our life.

All I wanted was a cheap stay and that’s exactly what I got. Didn’t need much and didn’t get much but the place was quiet and clean and the staff friendly and helpful.

For some reason I haven’t been able to review this hotel when we stayed in August 2019, here it is now: We arrived at 03.00 pm and were given a small about 10sqm Attic Room, instead of the Standard Double Room we booked and paid for. Even with A/C going non stop the Attic Room was extremely hot, carpet old and stained, furniture knocked about. Also the lift only goes to the 5. floor and not to the 6. where the Attic Rooms are.Breakfast was OK, but the dining room is too small with not enough tables, so you have to get your plate and try to find and chair in the reception area. And all this @ 185.- Australian Dollars a night? I think not!!! Fortunately we only paid for 1 night and obviously left in the morning...

This property was the most despicable place we have ever stayed. We stayed here because there were 1400 reviews that gave it eight out of 10. This is absolutely ludicrous! I don’t believe a word of it. The building was rundown… in a horrible section of town… The entrance off the sidewalk was covered in cigarette butts, people lingered outside the front interest in an inebriated or drug induced state. The entire building inside and out was in desperate need of at least paint! The room was extremely small, the carpets are very dirty… The worst we have ever seen. Each person is a lighted one thin towel, no shampoo or soap, bathroom with no place to put anything, just a freestanding sink. Price did not match the quality, that’s for sure For sure!!! Don’t stay there!

A surprisingly large old place that is well hidden. The rooms we stayed in were set out like an apartment with two rooms attached to a large dining room. The rooms were basic with minimal furniture, but they were good enough for a few days. Breakfast was good, if a bit crowded at times and the hotel was very close to the excellent subway for links to the rest of the city.

Good VFM Hotel in a well connected area
This hotel is good value for money. Its clean, has a powerful shower and includes breakfast. The only downside is that the inward facing rooms have windows right next to the mezannine corridors. So anyone walking by can see inside very easily unless you have your curtains closed. However given the price paid, this was good value for money.

Great location with Good breakfast and service from the reception. Hygiene and cleanliness of the room facility should be improved. Bed sheet not change everyday. We found dust mites and terrible small animal ; may be blood tick. small spot of blood on bed cover sheet... Noisy environment, children running and playing along the corridor. Will not booking and stay here again next time...
