We stayed 7 nights here, and the apartments couldn't have been in a better location to start your exploration of the city. It is set in the Jewish Quarter, a quiet and upmarket area of the city, surrounded by bars, shops and restaurants. The apartments stretch above a pedestrianised 'arcade' of shops and bars, which have benefitted by a recent renovation. The area feels new, clean, and safe. There are probably a dozen well kept bars crammed into this small block, making the area a social hub. The bars all serve as cafe's too, and are well worth a visit for an evening meal. It's perfectly located off the main roads where just around the corner and a 2min walk away is the main Deak Ferenc metro station, where all lines on the metro system meet. It's the best metro to be near to access all areas of Budapest. The apartments are modern, well kitted out with all cooking utensils, comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Our apartment was in an adjacent block of modern flats, all highly polished marble floors, security guard desk at the main entrance, elevator and a residential mix of affluant young Hungarians. Other apartments are located above the mix of bars. One thing which did surprise me was the booking will be paid for at reception - in cash! So make sure you have the funds, and the withdrawal limit on your card to take out cash to pay for your stay.
