"The staff was incredibly kind, and helpful. The room was freshly cleaned. They even went out of their way to help jump my car when it died and I really appreciate that."

"My only complaint would be i stayed three days but on the second day my room key didnt work so I had to have them do it again. I was told it was because the employees are lazy and only ever do it for one day...kind of odd if you ask me. And to know that it's being done on a regular basis but it doesn't get fixed is beyond me."

"Room was spotless and comfortable, lots of close parking, liked having coffee 24/7. The breakfast was just ok. Was option of sausage and over easy egg rounds at 6am one day and the other days at 8 they didn’t have much out. They had some bagels and muffins. A couple of yogurts in the fridge. Usual waffle machine. Overall though it’s an older yet well maintained hotel. The room was immaculately clean which to me makes all the difference. It was very quiet when I was there but I worked nights."

"The hotel is very well located in downtown Lancaster and close enough to Columbus and Hockinghills state park. The rooms are clean. Breakfast spread is nice and housekeeping is daily."

"I have used the Cherry Valley Lodge, now the Cherry Valley hotel for several years. The hotel must be suffering from the lack of capital as the parking lot, sidewalks desperately need work, there are plants, weeds, or small trees, growing in some of the gutters at the top of the roof. I am told that food service is not that great. At one time the food was quite good. I had breakfast there three times and the food was filling and it was buffet style so I can’t really share much about the food....

"There were blood stsins on the sheets, food in the fridge, human and pet hair on the floor and sheets. The sprinkler was encased in hair and dust. We did not stay and went elsewhere."

"The lightbulbs are low wattage. Bring some of your own to make seeing easier. also bring your own soap and shampoo / there are 3 pump bottles attached to the shower wall , who knows what they have gone thru. would have liked a recliner chair in the room instead of an odd shaped chair. room was clean / plenty of hot water and the ice machine worked well. Room was quiet."

"The Hampton Inn in Canal Winchester, Ohio is a newer hotel with nice amenities, friendly staff and well appointed rooms. The beds are super comfortable. All the staff were friendly. The complimentary breakfast had both hot and cold foods. We enjoyed our stay."
