The courtyard is a great area to sit outside and enjoy the peaceful sound of the creek that runs in back of the facility. My only issue is the roads leading to the site. They are a bit winding and narrow, but the facility is very close to the Breaks park, and only 15 minutes away from the town of Haysi."

"I have stayed at this hotel many times over the years, but this time it felt so run down. My room smelled musky, almost of stale cigarette smoke. The shade in my room was broken and would not go up. The room was dark with not enough light. The floor had crumbs from food that was eaten in the room prior to our stay. Unless something changes, this may be our last stay."
