"The owner/manager of this property was very welcoming and understanding of our situation and did everything he could to facilitate us on short notice. The pool in the property overlooks a slight hill so it makes for a nice touch. We felt very safe and the place is in a very quiet and serene area. "I stayed at Fish Tobago for over a week and completely enjoyed my stay. It is simple but very clean, great location to walk to the beaches or to the jetty. Brendon couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. I also really enjoyed the boat tours offered by the hotel. The guest house is in a peaceful and safe location with lots of greenery and giant mango trees. Very enjoyable stay and I highly recommend ."

"I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I arrived around 6 PM and almost everything was already closed, which was frustrating after a long day of traveling. The gift shop was supposed to open the next day, but it never did, leaving guests with no place to even grab basic necessities. The food was honestly terrible and the menu options were extremely limited. On top of that, most of the staff outside of the front desk were not helpful or welcoming at all. "The staff was great. The premises needs a severe renovation. Mold in the bathroom, hard to get ice if the kitchen isn't open (even when it is), I could see the mattress through the very thin bed sheets, lots of rust everywhere, difficult to get the TV to work, phone cord was broken (when was the last tome someone was in that room). I felt mislead based on the pictures on Expedia. "

"The room was clean, staff was very polite and helpful. Minor maintenance repairs needed on cupboard sliding mechanism and shower door. Minor repairs being done on the older parts of the large compound, which is generally well maintained. Tennis court is being worked on to include Pickle ball lines"

"Candles in the Wind...Thank you for a comfortable stay. Very warm host Andrew. Quiet residential area. Clean environment. Ac, hot and cold shower, TV, closet, 2 beds and table. Close proximity to beaches and places to eat. Safe environment. We paid USD 75 for one night however our host mentioned he usually has rooms way more affordable average USD35 but due to Carnival he was booked out. Highly recommend ."

"The property is big and pretty well maintained. However, it’s about a 10 minute walk away from Scarborough and so if you do not have a vehicle, you are a bit stuck. There is nothing much around the hotel itself. Poor vegetarian food options. Some staff members are amazing and helpful while others seem disinterested. They offer a free shuttle to and from the airport Slow in responding to messages (my experience interacting via Expedia messaging)"

"From the time we got there we was having probleming flashing the toilet and it got worst as the time when by . We went out for the day and came back to light flckering ,gate not opening ,and the other gate was locked and we had no keys to open the gate . The bedroom door got lock no keys to open the door. We were expecting to call every time something went wrong. They have to do better when ppl are paying their money for a place to stay. "

"I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Magdalena Grand Beach & Golf Resort. Considering the premium price we paid, the experience was far below acceptable standards. The property is clearly not being properly maintained. There were broken balustrades around the resort, and several areas were inaccessible because sections of the ceiling had fallen out.
