Well, I am not sure how much of my experience is COVID related. I do recognize that issues may be related to difficulties with supplies, staff etc.
When we arrived, we found an envelope with our keys and a map in it since the hostess had left for the day (6:30 pm). Before dinner, we were supposed to have a wine and cheese tasting. No cheese was provided. On day two, we had a breakfast that included a fruit and cheese plate, I could not resist the irony.
The hot breakfast was biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were undercooked. The website mentioned a champagne breakfast but no champagne was provided.
The seating in the restaurant (based on social distancing) had us seated in the corner at a round table so we either had to sit at an odd angle or with our back to the rest of the room. I cannot sit that way so I just chose the odd angle. The view from that spot out the window is a large blue storage container (??) that blocks the view of the vineyard.
I am trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. The food was fairly good and they make several very good wines. We bought three bottles to bring home with us.
I'd say for the money right now, just wait until this COVID mess is overwith and maybe the seating, breakfast, and service will improve.
