"We had a lovely time staying at Grifone Dolomiti! The hotel is perfect, clean and in good repair. The shuttle ride is easy and quick to the closest lift and ticket sale. There are ski lockers adjacent to the entrance for storing equipment and drying/warming your boots. Fantastic. Many good things can be said about the physical hotel, but the very best, and most important compliments can be for the staff. Everyone friendly, helpful, ready to make your stay more comfortable. Highly recommended."

"The hotel is well situated for the local attractions particularly Tre Cime. The rooms are large (almost too big) but quite basic. The en-suite bathroom by comparison was very small and not well maintained. Our shower head didn’t stay attached to the holder making it hard to use. "Away from the centre of the village, surrounded by mountains, we had a lovely view from our balcony of a field with donkeys grazing and a small chapel at the far end of the valley. It is quite a hike from the hotel to the lake. If you’re a hiker, then this is the place for you. The dinner was expensive and mediocre. I do not recommend the half-board plan. Breakfast was okay, very limited choices. They benefit from the high tourist numbers obviously reflected in the limited value for money...
