"Hotel was average, booked a premium room for amazing experience, asked for a quiet room and nice view, hotel replied saying they can offer nice view or quiet room, I asked for quiet room, we arrived after a very long day of travel. They put us on the very busy, noisy street side. Was very hot and humid in room around 11pm, aircon didn't work, we couldn't call reception, because there was no phone in the room, my husband had to get dressed and walk to reception, they said aircon doesn't work if outside temp. is below 21 "green hotel" no more phones in rooms. you have to call reception. We had to leave the doors open; it was NOISY people talking in the street like they were in our room on the 4th floor. Terrible sleep experience, how do you call reception if you are a tourist and cannot make local phone calls. Big and busy hotel was expecting, quiet more character. Our premium room which we paid top dollar for had an extra day bed in, how do you not remove the extra day bed, when a couple book a room, very off putting when you enter the room and look and walk right into a day bed. Plus, you have to pay a fee to use the gym, really at this rate, you cannot include the gym? Most expensive hotel on our trip, was our last evening and I wanted it to be a special treat, very disappointing."
