Hotel was old and shady looking. The staff was unprofessional. We were escorted up to our room and when we turned on the light, 3 roaches came out of the sink (which was right next to the bed) and 3 more out from the drawers. We immediately walked out. The girl said that the hotel didnt have roaches, only that room, and that the reason was a guest stayed there for 3 weeks and didnt let them clean it. I'd never recommend this to anyone
I like that they have an inside garage to keep the cars at night and what it needed were some blinds on the windows since the sun came in really hard in the morning.

There wasn’t any rooms available, even though my booking was allowed. They wouldn’t return my money and hotels.com couldn’t reimburse right away. This is horrible service if anything

I made my reservation at 11:45 pm when we arrived at the hotel there was a homeless person and the room I reserved had one that shared a bathroom, that was not to my liking, we decided to go looking for another hotel. I do not recommend it, you waste time and money.

Great hotel for the price, with a fun historic feel. Staff was wonderful. Highly recommend staying here—just be ready to use a “translate app” on your phone to communicate with staff.

I found multiple cockroaches in our room, the only thing they did for us was spray with raid. Mold in the shower. When I turned on the sink to wash my hands the water sprayed all over the place. I will not be staying here again!
Hello, at OYO Cameron Historic Hotel Brownsville, a huge amount of cockroaches, they changed our room, but this did not solve our problem. There are cockroaches everywhere, why the owner of the hotel deceives guests into his hotel, where it is impossible to live

Was charged for having guest. They will find any reason to charge u more for your stay and was never given a receipt or signed anything
