On arrival met the head housekeeper I think she said her name is Lucy. She gave me such a lovely welcome and kindly helped me with my case. Staff were pleasant especially the man at breakfast but seemed a bit thin on the ground maybe the time of year. My room was beautiful with a little very balcony overlooking the sea. Such a nice location. Need to watch out for trip hazards when doing painting repairs around the hotel. A few times a lit of stuff left on the stairs by workman, accident waiting to happen.
Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, great tea and coffee facilities, fantastic breakfast, great location. Wonderful for families.
Only issue was the lumpy pillows.
Lovely cosy room with calming colours great sea view and quiet . Generous supply of coffee pods assorted tea and shortbread included - a nice touch
Door was not sealed so drafty and light from hallway disturbed at night however overall a very comfortable room and friendly helpful staff with convenient location. Lots of nearby dining options.Definitely would recommend a return visit and stay here
Lovely hotel stay for a couple of nights. Right on seafront with lots of restaurants and pubs within very easy walking distance. Had a great cooked breakfast included as well.
Historic hotel with sea view. Our room was town facing. Nice and warm. Good WiFi. Comfortable bed. Inviting bath. Freeview TV. Pod coffee machine with lots of pods. Tea bags, coffee bags etc. Friendly atmosphere. As well as a good breakfast, we enjoyed a very good Sunday lunch at the hotel.
Great hotel lovely breakfast. Perfect location for enjoying the bars and restaurants broadstairs has to offer great location for exploring the Kent coast
We were upgraded to a sea view room with a balcony lovely, as was the staff and the food .It's well worth a visit to this lovely old hotel steeped in Dickensian history as is the town.
