"Lovely cosy room with calming colours great sea view and quiet . Generous supply of coffee pods assorted tea and shortbread included - a nice touch Door was not sealed so drafty and light from hallway disturbed at night however overall a very comfortable room and friendly helpful staff with convenient location. Lots of nearby dining options.Definitely would recommend a return visit and stay here "

"Great location, attentive staff. The building is really old and floors uneven, gaps in door frames add to its unique charm. Cathedral right in back and Evensong is recommend to hear the organ and choir. Bell ringing practice is Thursday night and goes on for some time. I had a great stay!"

"Lovely hotel "

"Staff very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is being refurbished atm but our rooms were very nicely decorated (& clean), as was the hotel bar area. Free car parking on-site. Lovely building & grounds but still close to Canterbury town centre. Only possible downsides - refurb of restaurant not finished yet but hotel clearly communicated this before we went... besides, it's only 10 minute walk into town anyway which has lots of bars and restaurants. - tea & coffee in room but no biscuits 😉"
