"Terrible check in. I was forced to handover cash in case of any damages I caused. I’m not sure who usually stays there for this to happen but I’ll not be staying again. I was told this in the T & Cs small print. If I didn’t pay i couldn’t check in and I wouldn’t get a refund from the booking. "

"The central location in Norwich is perfect for theatre goers and foodies! Good parking (when you discover the route in - don't forget to give car registration to reception). Efficient and friendly staff, great breakfast, very comfortable bed."

"I stayed here some years ago and was very impressed, however it is very tired and dated now, they are doing some renovations in some areas. Definitely not worth the money at the moment."

"Usually stay here, rooms are nice with the odd fault from time to time. Would be nice if they had bottles of water in the room. The thing that annoys me, and I think I've finally had it, is the gym times. Get in from a days work, just want to do an hour or two. Closes at 8, last admission at 7, and they chuck you out by 7.40. So realistically I get 40 minutes at best, and that's just pointless, especially when comparing to other hotels when they close at 10 or have 24 hour unattended."
