"Clean and spacious room. Comfortable beds, no noise from the street. Very centrally located hotel, near restaurants, pubs and cafes. Good breakfast selection. Helpful and welcoming staff.

"Good central location. Hotel smells of curry which is fine if that’s your thing, bar prices very expensive, bar staff inattentive. The hotel is geared towards Indian clientele (Indian cricket and tennis on the bar tv’s). Wifi next to useless. I couldn’t sleep because of a very loud whining noise in my room(153) and the corridor which I reported to the staff on my departure.If you’re looking for a Bristolian experience, this hotel isn’t it."

"Lovely old pub to stay at. Plenty of parking. We were there Sunday night and they have limited menu for food (roasts, fish and chips or a burger) but what we had was really good. Shout out to Jill who seemed to be every where. Dealing with check in, serving behind the bar, taking orders at the table and delivering food to tables!!! Amazing!!
And to top it off a really good breakfast to see you off. Highly recommended"

"The reception area had a dirty floor and we were disappointed with the reception toilet. The room was so small it was impossible to turn around, not to mention that the outdoor area where the rooms are located is full of cobwebs. The breakfast lacked variety. The only things worth mentioning are the clean bath towels and the very good shower. I do not recommend it."

"The hotel is just minutes off the M5 but an easy bus journey into the centre of Bristol. We had a lovely evening in Bristol and easily got back to the hotel. It is spotlessly clean and the staff are very helpful. The room had everything we needed and we had a choice of double or twin. Lovely breakfast. Great value for money. Lots of parking. We arrived a little early and it was no problem for us to check in."

"Note that this is on the north side of the motorway so when heading south we had to do a detour. And when we got to the place we were told that breakfast was back on the north side.
And when we left in the morning there was no one around to ask how to get there if we drove as we didn't have much time.
We had booked for two nights but only stayed for one."
