Lovely place to stay
Loved our stay at the George. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, bathroom was great to with a tub bath. We had evening meal with was very good indeed and the staff catered for my food intolerances too. Will definitely stay again. Well done to all concerned and highly recommended.

Cannot fault the accommodation but trying to get food in the evening from the restaurant was a shambles! First night, absolutely fine. Second night, having spent the day fishing in the elements, we arrived at the restaurant at 6.30pm and were told that the restaurant was closed, no food available (even to paying guests staying at the Pub), and were advised to visit the local shop for a sandwich!!! Will not be staying here again.
