Had a complimentary upgrade and was one of the nicest rooms I’ve ever stayed in if not the best. Always had staff on hand cleaning and available if we needed anything - cracking deal for the price last minute

staff were lovely and accommodating. the room however was dusty, smelt slightly damp and didn’t look like the pictures
The fire alarm going off 3 times in the morning at 4.15am, false alarm fortunately but not impressed!
Apart from that good location and parking ok but id suggest getting there early if you can.

Hotel was exactly what we needed - decent accommodation with ample parking that is well placed to explore the city with the family on foot.
The breakfast was great with a good selection and regularly replenished buffet. The midday checkout meant we didn’t feel rushed, which can be a problem with earlier check outs when you have a young family.
While the public spaces were well cleaned and the rooms a good size, the interior decor and exterior signage is feeling a little dated - especially if you enter from the car park which is a very different experience (first impressions wise) than if you enter from the front which opens onto a busy road.
Overall, good value for money, but could do with a bit of TLC in places.

Always Stay at this hotel when visiting Bristol over last 20 years, But i will no longer be.
Terrible aircon, we were given Cheap free standing fans
in the rooms obviously they know theres a problem
Hence them being in the rooms
( too hot to Sleep)
Had to change room at 11.30pm due to electrics tripping out in room and couldn't be put back on
so given another room which was an accessibility room
shower head only 4ft high, Sink on the floor pretty much, Had to Kneel down to brush teeth
Then went for breakfast & was greeted by a very sweaty stressed out member of staff
who couldn't seem to handle people.
Complained when checking out but
might as well not have, Didn't seem to care.
Been a great place to stay over the years but now on the hunt for somewhere New!!
Booked this for a weekend break as it was my 1st time visiting Bristol. Central location to the main city and a 10 minute walk to the bars and restaurants. Service at the hotel was terrible. The hotel operates on WhatsApp so you aren't actually able to call the reception for any room service. The privilege room was spacious which comes with a stock mini fridge by stocked it meant 3 cans of coke no refills no water in the room you had to walk down to the other side of the lobby area to refill a glass jug. The shower in the room kept blocking because clearly the drains hadn't been cleaned. Messages were sent on WhatsApp to the hotel for refils on the mini fridge with a reply sent back to us advising that we use the water fountain if we needed any drinks. The check in was a joke with the staff member asking us for an additional £160 stating we had only reserved a room. We showed her the email which confirmed we had already paid for the room in full. Breakfast is basic 2 days in a row basic items such as beans and crossiants had run out. The exterior of the property is also basic situation infront of a subway which some local shops nearby with a lot of weirdos hanging around. The cleaning staff aren't the best either the room was cleaned however no additional stocks of basic items such as toilet paper shower gel or shampoo were restocked. Wouldn't book again no interest in customers more concerned with how to fob them off.
