Room was a bit cold and I think the heating doesn’t work in our room. There was no lift as well. Positive side though is the staffs were accommodating.
Compulsory ID I wasn't expecting, I thought there was breakfast, and the shower was freezing to just cold. Reading reviews this is not the first time. View was fantastic and they placed me on the ground floor, I was grateful. It seems the double I tried to book originally was available after all. Perhaps the booking system needs updating too. No food in rooms is a strange rule for a place that doesn't serve food. But on the whole this is ok, but overpriced for the facilities. £45-65 would be better.

Dear Guestthank you for your review and for your staykidnly note that the hot water in the shower was boiling and hot , as you didnt notice to turn the shower tape to the right side as when you checked out i checked my self.as well regarding the photo ID its the police instructions to the hotel in the area .thank you and have a nice weekend.
It was a very ideal location and the staff were very nice , if you don’t mind spunk stains on your bed and chair this place will work a treat , only other issue being fermented milk and a disfuntional tv and a little bit of mould on the walls , however other than that it was terrific

Dear Guestthank you for your review and thank you for your stay with us.have a nice weekend.
Paid 150 quids for a triple room but:
1. Heater wasn't working
2. Window didn't lock
3. Bathroom door had no lock
4. Duvet wasn't provided
5. Lamp and TV weren't functioning
Booked a quadruple room that says on the booking comes with a double bed and two single beds with a garden. Was given a room with two double beds and no garden. There was sharp nails poking out of the bottom of the wardrobe which was very dangerous and if not looking you could end up stepping on one and cutting yourself. Windows were very old style and could not be sealed shut properly. Overall was not satisfactory as the advertisement for the room was no where near the room we was given
It was surprisingly quiet however there was no parking at all!!!! i was driving around for half an hour before finding a parking space 2 roads over up the other side of the hill which also meant we had to be up before 8 to be ready to get the car out of that spot before 9 am when we was meant to be relaxing

Dear makaylathank you for your review however we offered you our parking voucher to park for 24 hours with 20 charge however you didn't choose that and preferred to park on street parking spot as it was so busy allover Brighton .we are sorry about that and looking forward to welcoming you again.thank you
Dear ,Syedathank you so much for your kind Review it was good to have you and we are glad to hear that you were happy with your stay looking forward to welcome you again in our hotel ,Kind RegardsAmbassador Hotel
Excellent and you cannot get much closer to being right on the beach! Extremely close to the pier and amenities along the main beach area. Very comfortable bed mattress and quiet room. Within a longer walk to the main Rail / Train Station in Brighton! Very Friendly staff. Simple yet great place and I would stay there again!!

Dear MR, David hope you are doing well it was our pleasure to have you in our hotel we glad to hear that you have enjoyed your stay thank you so much looking forward to see you again soon kind Regards AMBASSADOR HOTEL TEAM
Only getting two stars because the best was comfy, the room was relatively clean and the placement is good.
Now the bad things - we have 3 plug sockets in the room. 1 was burnt out and the other had dodgy electrics.
The fire alarm kept beeping all night due to the batteries being low.
The room door had no lock on - and the bathroom door was broken.
We had a fan in the room but that was broken too.

If you got beeping why you didn’t come down .it could be sorted straight away We usually don’t put fans in the rooms Regards Ambassador Hotel
The property is very tired and in need of a good clean the shower was in need of updating and the wash basin. The windows need fixing the only good point is that the bedding was clean otherwise we would not have stayed, I certainly would not visit again.
Had booked other accommodation that turned out to be unsuitable. This hotel was able to accommodate us for the duration of our stay in Brighton 🙏
Location brilliant
Staff very friendly
Room good size and huge windows, a bonus.
Very comfortable and all you could ask for, will be returning on my next trip to Brighton.
Only 2 plug sockets in the room1 which was burnt. Tv not working , wifi not working , shower not working plus no bath plug. Lock on door broken. Handle to bathroom door broken. Window not shutting properly.
Great location, easy to check in and have own keys so can come and go as you please at any time. Perfect for what we wanted just a room for sleeping after a night out, easily walkable to the town and seafront would definitely book again
Location is excellent, shower quite small but manageable, quite clean, comfy beds, I think it is a family run hotel so can be quite noisy in the mornings, staff are accommodating, it’s just a basic place to stay if you’re on a budget. Location is amazing though
Great stay, friendly and helpful staff!
Only thing I would mention is that the walls are quite thin, so you can hear a few of your neighbours quite clearly in the night time, otherwise a great stay.
