"The hotel is beautiful, however not very functional unless you are a solo traveler. The bathroom is a small glass box that you can hear/see everything through, which is not ideal when someone else is in the room. The shower floods across the whole bathroom floor because there is no door separating the shower and toilet, so you will be standing in a puddle when using the restroom unless you dry it up.
Also extremely disappointed in the actual check in process. We arrived earlier in the day and...

"The bathroom was sparkling, and well supplied. The AC was confusing, couldn’t get the temperature right, it was often stuffy. The breakfast menu was loaded with carbs, and only one choice of breakfast meat. There was remodeling going on which made the lobby very congested. I had an issue trying to purchase a soda and chips, it didn’t accept cash, and wouldn’t allow me to charge it to my room. I would stay at this location again, after the construction is completed."

"The set up of the room had interior windows that werent sounproofed and opened into a hallway. So limited natural light umless the room was exposed. This made it noisy in the night. I was awakened three times by peolle opening doors or talking loudly. The property has the audacity to ask for a fee for late check out in spite of this.
Bed was comfortable and a good size especially the bathroom but the above issues really tainted it and i likely wouldn't stay again as the concern was more on...

"The staff could not have been more accommodating. We had some special requests and they kindly responded and accommodated for us. The rooms were very clean although they could use a bit of updating— overall our stay was wonderful and we will return. Fitzpatrick is our NYC go to hotel for every visit. "
