We travel extensively and this was one of the best places we have stayed at. Management kept us apprised of what we needed to know to make our stay a positive experience. The amenities were much more than we expected. The area was beautiful and within a half hour of all the places we wanted to see. We would definitely stay here again.

Just a little helpful info here
Rarely do I complain and I am not really going to complain here… but there is no AC in these units AND they are not part of The Mount Washington Resort. I have stayed at the Hotel many times so I called there and spoke to concierge.. who assured me that all of the units on property were a part of the family. Not true. Not the Bretton Woods Condos by Bretton Woods Vacations. Great spot though. We had a good time, but we know how to navigate the property .

The property was perfect for a family with three children. It had everything we needed and the kitchen was very well equipped. It was very clean, sheets and towels in perfect condition, and the location was only 2 minutes away from the ski resort. The kids also had a lot of space to run and play outside. Would definitely consider returning!

Great other than cleanliness
Comfortable stay with great location, view and amenities though there were some pretty major cleaning issues. Most notedly the sheets/pillow cases/towels appeared unwashed with hairs all over them. In addition the dishes in the cupboard were noticeably unclean with food residue that was easily removed with a sponge and dish soap. The master shower curtain upstairs also had pink mold. All in all very displeased with the cleanliness of the property especially given current times (COVID) though this would have been unacceptable at any time. Other than cleanliness a great stay.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I am saddened to hear of this cleaning quality issue. We push our hard working housekeeping staff to do better each and every day. We have a full laundry facility and all linens and towels are changed out for each stay. I am sorry to hear of the issues experienced. Also, the pink residue that tends to appear at the bottom of shower curtains is not mold and is common due to the products used in the shower. We do pull the curtains to clean them periodically. Finally, it is not always possible to re-clean the entire kitchen including pulling all dishes and re-washing, in-between each rental. Our team works hard to make these spaces as good as possible - and if the clean is for a same-day turnaround there wouldn't be sufficient time for this. I say this in hopes of conveying our understanding and grasp of these issues. It is not a common issue amongst our 70+ properties that we manage. Hopefully you can return to us and experience a better housekeeping job next time. Thanks again, Aaron

Fully agree! I asked Hotels.com and Expedia multiple times to have the ability to add more detail both on the interior and features of them home, and general information. Unfortunately, it is all based on an automated system and they will not let us change it.

Best family get away ever
We had a couple small snags in the beginning, however the communication was excellent and they made sure to take fantastic care. Also highly recommend the little store in Bethlehem they were also amazing!

Condo was a great size for our family of 4 plus our dog. Not grand but comfortable. We liked the gas fireplace, the washer/dryer, the mudroom. Some of the shades were broken and while we had brought coffee, the only coffee maker was a Keurig and there were no K-cups, which is the only kind of coffee you can use in that machine. Those were minor things though. Very convenient to xc and downhill ski areas. Easy drive from Boston. Our GPS couldn't find the condo (tried to take us through the woods on a closed road) but we figured it out.

We enjoyed the location, the size of the unit and the wonderful package of information provided before and when we arrived.The views of mountains were wonderful. Quiet and peaceful setting. The unit was meticulous, however, decor was dated, country feel. Beautiful in its own right if that is your style. Bring food! During this time the restaurants are not close by.

Hi and thank you for your feedback! If there's anything we could have done differently to get a 5/5 rating, please do let us know. Feedback is very important to us! As far as restaurants, there are a handful of restaurants within the resort itself - from the upscale Bretton Arms and Main Dining Room at the Mount Washington Hotel, to the more casual Fabyan's and Stickney's - and coming soon, a gorgeous new mountain top venue. These are all within a 5 minute drive, or a free shuttle ride away. We do however recommend that guests bring food if they plan to eat at home, as the closest supermarket is about 20 minutes away!

The property was nice and they spaced us (visitors) our nicely. My biggest complaint was that we were supposed to have 4 bedrooms and only had 3. Which may not have been the property owners fault. The dishes we used needed to be washed before use because they had crusty dried food on them.

Thank you, Brandy. We have a variety of different accommodations, from 2 bedrooms to 5 bedroom and unfortunately the Expedia system is automated so we cannot create descriptions. All of our units are entered into the system accurately; guests need to make sure they book the correct one! In this case, you booked room "SC19" which is a 3 bedroom. I'm not sure where the confusion was, but from our end you booked a 3 bedroom and were put in that very exact room. You may want to express your concern with Hotels.com as it may relate to their interface and the fact that, as I mentioned, it's all automated and perhaps a bit confusing. As for the food, we apologize for that and I have informed the cleaning staff to make sure they look at the dishes that guests have put away and make sure they are truly clean.

Not a “fan”
First off, pictures should be labeled for each unit as what you see is about 20% likely what you will get. Second, if you are renting in the summer, bring fans. There is no air conditioning and the boiler room vents into the unit! We arrived at 6pm and the condo was almost 80 degrees. It didn’t cool to a toasty 74 until 1am which made for a poor nights sleep. There was only one ceiling fan, and we came across a small table fan in the laundry room late at night. I’m sure I’m the winter that this place is charming as it had great views and a fireplace, but for the summer, it’s definitely overpriced for the comfort level.

Dear Jason - We feel terrible that you had a negative experience! Unfortunately, the issues that you mention are more related to the Expedia/Hotels.com interface than our units. We have 37 units, all completely different from one another. Expedia and Hotels.com make it a bit difficult to understand the specific features of each unit and we are not allowed to provide a customer description that would help - but the photos are 100% accurate. They are all labeled as "rooms" on the website (which is the only way we can do it), and all the pictures for a given room are ONLY for that room; so it's not really fair to say that what you see is "20% likely." The pictures for the room you are looking at are EXACTLY what you will get. As are the amenities description. And on that front, you happened to book one of our cheapest units, meant for those looking for a comfortable, no-frills stay, and it does not have AC. We have other units with AC, but you chose a unit without it... so I find it a bit unfair to leave a negative review because there is no AC in a unit that's advertised as not having AC. It's a bit like complaining that a car rental company gave you a Ford when you rented a Ford. If you wanted the Lexus, you should have rented the Lexus. The unit you mentioned has dozens of positive reviews on all major booking sites, and the lack of AC, once again, is clearly advertised. As for the boiler room "venting" into the unit... that's the case for just about every house I've ever seen. I can't think of any condo or house with independent heat where the boiler wasn't in a room inside the unit - and all those rooms require being vented to ensure proper air supply for the boiler. Once again, we are terribly sorry about your experience, and we would love to host you again in a more upscale unit - we have units with AC, hot tubs, private beach!

The photos shown while booking were not the actual photos. they were misleading. the unit did not have air conditioning. for the price we paid to rent this place, I expected higher quality accommodations and comfort (at least air conditioning). this was way overpriced.

Hi Siham - We are sorry that you feel that way! First of all, I need to point out that our listings are vacation homes, each very different from the other in structure, size, decor, and level of luxury. Each listing has the accurate photos, and each listing has the appropriate amenities listed. The unit you chose is our cheapest unit, which has no Air Conditioning and is not advertised as having Air Conditioning.We have other units with AC at higher rates, but that's not what you chose. As far as price, I apologize that you feel that way. Please note that you paid less than $350/night for a 3 bedroom unit in the heart of Bretton Woods. That's less than Omni charges for a single hotel room, and less than half than what Omni charges for a comparable unit. We feel our prices are extremely competitive, and have a very hard time seeing this as "way overpriced" when you paid about $100 per bedroom in a top notch resort at one of the busiest times of the year. We appreciate your business and your feedback, but also feel that your feedback is not really objective and not indicative of the product we offer. We have a wide range of options for different budgets - just like a car dealer that sells both Fords and Maserati. If you choose Ford, the feedback that it doesn't drive like a Maserati is unfair and in no way actionable for us. We always encourage our guests to give us a call if they need help finding the perfect unit, so that situations like this can be avoided! We are here to help and to serve our guests, and apologize for your poor experience. Alex

This is someone's personal family holiday home and so has personal photos and other momentos. If you're comfortable with that (we completely were) then this is a perfect place to stay and explore the White Mountains. Location is superb, the place is extremely comfortable and there are shuttle buses making the place very convenient.

As you point out, the listing does not include AC in the description; we only have a few units with AC, which rent at a premium price, but the reason is that AC is generally un-needed at 1600 feet in the White Mountains. You did visit during a record breaking heatwave, which unfortunately happened during the busy 4th of July week; the temperature was back in the 30's a few nights later! We are encouraging owners to install AC, but since it's only needed a couple of nights a year, it's a bit of a hard sell. Thank you for your feedback!

Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately, not all units have air conditioning. These are individually owned homes, and some owners don't see the need - and some associations actually don't allow it. I should point out that it was a low of 52F (11C) last night, not exactly a scorcher, and most summer nights are in the upper 40's to low 50's, so AC is not usually needed. That said, we offer many units that do have AC, so we encourage our more heat-sensitive guests to book one of those!
