"Das Zimmer war geräumig und sauber aber hellhörig. Das Bad war ausreichend groß. Leider hatte das Zimmer kein Tageslicht da es mit einer „Fassade“ umgeben war. Wir konnten in eine Art Innenhof gucken oder was immer das auch war. Die Dame an der Rezeption war scheinbar nicht gut drauf, dass hat sie sich auch etwas anmerken lassen. Schade !"

"Excellent location. Good attentive staff. Great breakfast. But the room design is wanting. Black separate shower and toilet are dark. Water is coming out of the shower and the floor is moldy and swallen. So, the washroom door jams. Overall design is somewhat pretentious but with unnecessaryly reduced space and functionality. Would have been better with more conventional simpler approach. Overall recommended though."

"The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic with so much variety. Room facilities are all controlled via a keypad including the curtains, which wasnt immediately obvious. Other than that great place to stay"

"The Rubens is a fantastic hotel. We only stayed one night, but will definitely stay there upon return to London. The location cannot be beat, only a block or two from Buckingham Palace. The staff absolutely could not have been nicer or more accommodating. They really were fantastic!! The room was comfortable. We had a view of the Royal Mews. Breakfast was amazing. I really cannot say enough nice things about the hotel. Highly recommend!"
