"It was our second time staying here. Our first visit was in the main building, this visit was in an adjoining building. We love the history of this place. The room we had was very roomy, the bed was comfortable and the building itself was beautiful. The staff were all very helpful. I love staying here!"

"Fantastic hotel - sparkling clean, helpful staff, well priced drinks and snacks, lots to keep the kids occupied AND free to use washing machine/tumble drier. LOVED our 1 night stay and pit stop, only wish it had been longer. Incredible value for money, would recommend to anyone."

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location even if you haven't got a car as the bus stop is just round the corner taking you into the centre and the station in around 15 minutes. Also good for cyclists as they have a locked store. Not many places to eat nearby however. Breakfast is fine. Beds are very comfortable and although rooms are quite small there's everything that you need for a short stay. Next door hotel is popular with commercial drivers so can be noisy early morning."

"Budget hotel currently undergoing a refurb as it desperately needs one! Check in is next door at the Campanile, and was dealt with efficiently. Rooms were clean but very, very tired. As workers were refurbing one floor the stairs and landings were dirty. Restaurant at the Campanile was good but closes early."
