Hotels in Breakers, Ormond Beach

"We loved the hotel. BUT...the lady at the front desk on the left side (facing the desk) was OBVIOUSLY not amused with us being there. We tried to ignore that & asked if they could hold our luggage at the front desk. EVERY SINGLE HOTEL in the world, will allow you to do that,at least some luggage. What did she say? Very snappy "Well how much do have, we don't have a lot of space!" There's a way to say ANYTHING. Working at the front desk, being an older lady, she should know this by now. Her tone was OFF with us during every encounter with her. It really threw us off. We had requested to check in early, prior to the check in date. Of course, she made us wait for absolutely reason. Okay, fine, we'll wait. When we did check in, we asked for the high floor that we had requested PRIOR to check in date. This lady put us on the 2nd floor, which is the lowest floor that has rooms. We know FOR A FACT, there WERE rooms available on other floors, including the 10th floor!!!!! How did we know this?? It was confirmed later that evening by YOUR STAFF, that our type of room was available on SEVERAL FLOORS that day. In fact, the 10th floor room went to a man who only stayed 1 night. Really?? There were SEVERAL ROOMS available on higher floors that was our type of room. We REALLY wanted a higher floor for the privacy aspect. It's ridiculous that you would not accommodate, JUST BECAUSE YOU DONT WANT TO. It felt VERY SPITEFUL. The NICE staff with Locs confirmed this.Review continues in comments."

"We've stayed here so many times and this was definitely the last! We live here in Florida and love Daytona but now need to find a new favorite place. We always get the suite and balcony with the loungers, the porch area is dirty, the loungers need new cushions, the inside room had hair all over including the sheets, the bathroom toilet seat was slipping off. Do better!!!"

"The young lady at the front desk was very nice, even with a lack of the English language, however after that the nightmare began, no internet on Sunday and Monday morning so I could not plan my future activities and then it was too late to find another hotel, very unsecured property, parking lot had lights that never came on so had to stay up most of the night guarding our car, anyone can walk right in from the rear because the doors are missing the door strikes, when checking out the property we ran across a drug deal going on in the rear parking lot. "

"The infinity pool has an amazing view of the coast of Daytona. However, you can barely see the beach through the crystals that are so dirty all the time. "

"Room was clean and fresh. Very comfortable. Lots of storage. Staff was amazing. No issues at all. Love Giovanni (Miami) at the Chill Bar. Always a smile and wonderful service. Breakfast was ok. Most of the food was lukewarm, and there were many empty items, such as butter, silverware. Tables could have been cleaned up better too. But it was a good variety of food. Only other issue was when checking in, the live music at the pool area was too loud, drowned out the poor guy at the front desk (John), very hard to hear what he was telling us etc. Maybe put the music at the other end of pool area. The sound comes right into lobby from the bar and it is too loud for the small area. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay."

"Jeep beach week 2026... we had a great stay but ofcourse nothing is perfect... it would be very much appreciated if your little refrigerator work properly best practice is to check them before costumer check in. Just saying."
