"Silkeborg is a jewel, beautiful for walking and makes a lovely destination. A business hotel mainly, paint peeling and damaged ceiling in the bedroom. No extras such as complimentary water on arrival or in reception, no bathroom extras. No lounge area other than reception. No satilite TV. More could be provided for tourists. A good swimming pool. "

"The Lodge was a terrific place to stay and we would definitely stay there again. We wanted something kid-friendly close to Legoland without having to pay what they were asking at the Lego Hotels. We were pleasantly surprised at the amenities available and how helpful the staff was. Our 8 year old absolutely loved the pool and we liked how close we were to Legoland since we didn't have a car. Breakfast was amazing and had options for everyone. It's very busy but when you select your breakfast time, there's always room available for you. We didn't get to explore outside as much as we hoped since we spent most of our time at Legoland and Lego House but it's somewhere we definitely would stay again and probably spend an extra day or two. Without having a restaurant, they had lots of quick meal options we could pick up, which we did one night and really enjoyed. The morning we were checking out, we needed a taxi at 6AM which would mean we missed breakfast. When I asked the front desk about it the evening before, they reserved my taxi right away and promised us breakfast to go. Everything was ready for us in the morning with the taxi waiting at the door. Overall, we have nothing negative to say about the Lodge and very much hope to visit again. "
