"Booked the room in February. After an 80 bicycle ride in mixed weather conditions, i was delighted to arrive at the hotel. Not delighted to find it locked. Tourist centre was kind enough to contact the owner that said that it was closed for renovations. Some kind of notice would be expected."

"This bnb is a gem in every way. The location in the historic district is perfect. You can walk everywhere. Car parking is very easy on the street. The bnb itself is stunning and comfortable. Our room was absolutely beautiful. The bathroom was like none other we have ever seen. The host was friendly and helpful, and her breakfast was remarkable! "Fizemos a reserva e foi uma surpresa, pois trata-se de uma quinta, um antigo castelo com quartos enormes e confortáveis. A recepcionista muito simpática. Café da manha muito bom, onde serviam frutas colhidas do pé na hora. Um lugar com muitas árvores frutíferas que podíamos comer diretamente do pé. Amamos a estadia e com certeza voltaremos."

La Quinta is close to Pinhao, were we took a boat to navigate through the Douro with the most relaxing time. The Museu Coa is in the area and worth visiting.
