"Nice older hotel/motel right on the shore of Lake Superior - nothing fancy. My main complaint was that there's not an elevator to the second floor. If I return, I'll make sure to book a 1st floor room."

"I had a great solo trip to Ely, Minnesota and enjoyed staying at the Adventure Inn for 3 nights. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area. They dealt with one situation with a very loud guest having a party well after quiet hours had ended. I would recommend staying here giving them a 10 out of 10."

"The Cliff Dweller does not disappoint! Absolutely beautiful views and right up against the lake. You can see and hear the waves crashing against the shore! Very nice room and nice breakfast in the morning (with great hours) and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. We loved our stay! Thank you."
