It’s in a good neighborhood, within walking distance of good restaurants and shops, and the staff couldn’t possibly be more helpful and accommodating. Our room (403) was well-sized, particularly for Europe, had good views, good closet space, and while only steps from the rooftop bar, good sound proofing."

"Shiny outside, Rotten core. Stay somewhere else. I travel to Europe multiple times a year. I stayed at two other hotels in Portugal on this particular trip. Same procedure everywhere. Pictures of the passports, confirm payment for the room and incidentals, sign. My flight was early in the morning. My companion's was later in the day. She stopped at the desk as a courtesy to let them know that they could clean the room. Their response was to hold her and make her pay for the room and...
