8/10 Good
"At Hotel A we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful employee. He gave us a map and pointed out all of the things to do in the area. The room was a great size, very clean and had a lovely view. No TV in the room, but there was one in the community lounge area. This place had a more rustic, lodge-type feel. The dinner menu was very limited, but there were not many options in the immediate area. Breakfast was included and it was decent, but not the best that we have had. This location worked well for our Ring Road tour, but not much farther along the route was Borgarnes which is a larger town which might have had more options for dining and accommodations. But overall, this was a decent stop and quite close to some interesting sights like lava cave tours, Hraunfossar and Barnafoss waterfalls, and Deildartunguhver."
