The staff were efficient, very friendly and very helpful. The room and ensuite were quite small but clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was okay but not high pressured. Unfortunately there was no kettle and no tea and coffee supplies in the room. Sadly missed. Also there were no information leaflets in the room eg. meal times, menus, facilities available etc.

Will Stay Again.

All staff were friendly and very helpful. Continental breakfast was very good, better than we anticipated. Great location for transport as tram just 100 meters up the road. Bathroom a little awkward but does the job. Room clean. Will definitely use this hotel again.

Our stay was great!! The location was really good, a nice walkable area with nearby bus & tram stops. A couple stops away or a simple walk away will get you into the city centre which was great. The rooms, bathroom & all amenities were very clean and matched images. I was struggling to figure out how to use the tv's chromecast but the staff responded very quickly & helped me with that which I appreciated. Also we both really liked the breakfast options! I definitely recommend & will definitely return when I'm in Bordeaux next.

A little gem.

After reading some reviews on this hotel I wondered what I had booked. Our stay was excellent, staff were helpful and personable and could speak English, which is always a bonus. The room was clean, well looked after and comfortable. Breakfast was a continental buffet style eat as much or as little as you wanted, with plenty of tea, coffee and fresh fruit drinks. They only thing that I would like to see is the facility of tea/coffee in the room. A pleasant experience. We would stay again.

Room is good, bathroom is a bit too small with no toiletries. Most shocking no water at all except for a dispenser in the lobby. The heat in Bordeaux is very strong so the hotel should consider the hydration of their guests. Water is cheap to provide.

Pauline on reception was a star!

Pauline receptionist at the hotel was very helpful! She spoke English as a second language which was essential when there was a problem with my son's room booking and I had to ring the travel agent in the UK.

Time to spruce it up.

The wine may be fine but the entire City of Bordeaux needs a good cleaning to start with. Compared to somewhere like Biarrittz they could also be better with treatment of tourists. There are a lot of wineries in this world.

Walking into the city center was easy from the hotel and getting to and from the airport using the tram system was very convenient. Suggestions for improving the property ... get rid of the carpets in the building ... they smell and are off putting ... tile or cement the floors. There are no restaurants around so the bar should offer "tapas", little things to eat in the afternoon and evening. We left very early in the morning and it would have been nice to have a cup of coffee or tea, juice and a croissant available. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Our room had a terrible sewage smell on and off. Breakfast was not worth it. We did not get apple juice, coffee machines were broken, no pancakes other morning, joghurt bowl was empty, cleanliness was not good in breakfast. This experience was from two mornings. Eat somewhere else. Otherwise location is good and tram A goes next to hotel.

Got there from an overseas flights and took a shower early afternoon. Asked for additional towels as only 2 were in the room for a double occupancy. Went downstairs to ask for more for a later shower and was given attitude for daring asking for additional towels. This is supposedly the higher end of ibis hotels chain. 1/2 coffee machines were not operating as always needed to be fixed by the staff who really didn’t seem to care as people were lining up to the only machine available. Very poorly managed. Only young staff and no senior managers on site. Staff seem to not care at all and super rude. During the checkout someone knocked at our door 15 minutes after the deadline for our checkout. Again was given attitude telling us it’s time to leave the room despite all the issues we encountered. Area is ok just ahead of tram station. That’s the only benefit. We will not stay there again.

Depsite being advertised as an air conditioned hotel we arrived to very hot and stuffy room. When we asked about the air con we were advised that this wouldn't be turned on for another week and received a flat response that as it hadn't been hot until now it wasn't to be turned on for another week and this in Mid May!!! We were offered a fan but the fan provided blew out more hot air that cold/cool air and we woke up about 3am due to a boiling room (according to the fan it was 31 degrees in our room.). We subsequently gave up with the fan and opened the window which didn't open much the only issue with this was that for the air to flow from the window into the room we couldn't close the curtains so we had to sleep for 3 nights with the curtains fully open in order to at least be able to sleep without sweating all night. The breakfast buffet was very sparce with very little selection. of what was avaliable it was mainly end of items (eg of 3 jam pots available 2 had been scraped pretty much clean). It was not worth the £12 per person it was being charged for.

Para ser un Styles,la comida es básica y poco variada.En otros he encontrado por ejemplo Nice, diferentes tipos de huevos,salchichas , más fiambres pan fruta yogures siempre el mismo bowl... después del tercer día uno empieza a disfrutar menos del desayuno. Si eres vegano o celíaco.....ni te digo, el restaurante precio ligeramente elevado para el servicio me trajeron la copa de vino a 20 grados con una temperatura de 37 afuera...no venía de una cava. Siento que alguna vez brilló...El personal correcto en todo momento, el último día nos dejaron un sólo juego de toallas siendo 2 y con una temperatura que no bajó de 30 grados qué esperaban que no nos duchemos a diario? siento que esos detalles no pueden pasar..ah es también cuando extrañas tener un frigobar en la habitación.. con semanas de tanto calor..

Concernant le petit-déjeuner le pain est servi à la demande si bien qu'il a fallu attendre longtemps avant que le buffet ne soit réapprovisionné. Dommage ! Le personnel n'anticipe pas assez les demandes. La poignée du distributeur de jus d'orange frais était cassée. Nécessité de bidouiller le robinet pour se servir en jus.

Buenas tardes, Más que un comentario, quisiera poner una queja ya que nunca me había pasado algo igual... La reserva era para dos noches.Al llegar a la habitación del hotel en la segunda noche de estancia, nos encontramos que se habían olvidado de hacer la habitación, es decir, las tollas estaban sucias y las camas sin hacer. Bajo a hablar con el responsable del hotel y no me da ninguna solución (al menos toallas limpias), limitándose a decir que informará al responsable del turno de la mañana.. Cuando bajamos a desayunar por la mañana la responsable me dice que NO tiene ningún aviso o notificación de incidencia. Ante mi asombro, le respondo que jamás me había pasado algo parecido y me responde durante el Check Out que me puede compensar dándome algo de beber para el viaje, a lo cual le dije que no era necesario. En fin, pagamos por las dos noches el mismo precio y obviamente esperaba otra respuesta.
