We chose this place extremely last minute as a stop over for a very long car journey. We were very happy with our choice, lovely owners (and lovely dog who is super friendly), beautiful building and surroundings. We will be sure to come back when we have more time to be able to enjoy the pool!!!

The chateaux itself was lovely with lovely gardens and the pool was welcome after the long journey from Rouen. It’s a shame there was no restaurant or bar at the chateaux. We were recommend a restaurant a short walk away but our meal was not great.

A lovely venue with periodic charm and welcoming staff. The pool was excellent and needed in the heat. Despite the room being nicely furnished, at a minimum a fan is needed if they venue is not fitted with air conditioning. The rooms were very hot which unfortunately made sleep somewhat uncomfortable.

Amazing authentic and lively people

From the moment we arrived we were made to feels so very welcome; what lively people. Great evening snack with a wonderful bottle of red and the company of their Golden Retriever. Beautiful room, breakfast lovey, a real shame we had to move on to Span BUT we will defo rent be back and I have no hesitation in recommending (infact I already have). m&V

It was a lovely old property. The owners were great. It was nice to live for 3 days in a museum of sorts, with so much history. However, don't expect luxury. Our aircon didn't work and we were simply told, "well it's an old building". The restaurant did not offer a menu. We were told meat or fish and on the night we went, it was meat only. The food was ok but if you're looking for an up market stay, this is not it.

I plan to gk back again!

What a beautiful Chateau! The owner tells me that they spent 5 years restoring it. It is wonderful. Be aware they only offer dinner on Saturday nights - I checked before. The good news is they do cheese and charcuterie boards. This suited me down to the ground. A glass of red wine and I was very happy. Charming owners too. Great if you use as a stopover en route as only 15 mins from Bordeaux and 5 mins from the motorway. Sweet little village too.

Beautiful old chatesux

Beautiful old chateaux in superb village location amongst vineyards outside of Bordeaux. A little run down in places but charming all the same. Lovely relaxing pool area. Breakfast was typical French style with quality produce at a good price. Host was there seeing to our needs, he was very likeable and a pleasure to meet. Stayed 2 days and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The owners were not very nice upon checking in, they would only give us 2 little glasses of ice for our room & was told we would be charged $10. Corking fee if we opened any of our wine that we brought there. We couldn’t lock our 2 doors & u had to drag your luggage over deep gravel to get to your room. Very unfriendly couple that owned it.

Disaster.

Very bad,seems to be run on a "shoestring".Lack of staff,no food(the first stay we had a bad meal on the terrace which took about two hours to complete,due to lack of service)Only small bottles of beer available,of which I only go one ! Breakfast was equally miserable with very little choice.Overall I would not recommend...oh the swimming pool was clean and good....about the only thing I could recommend!

La demeure est pleine de charme , un vrai château et je tire mon chapeau aux propriétaires car le travail d entretien doit être énorme … malheureusement pleins de petites choses à revoir : clim ko, robinet salle de bain cassé, après c est en pleine nature donc moustique et fourmis au rdv… La piscine est quant à elle superbe !

Fantastiskt lugnt och hemtrevligt!

Ett fantastiskt boende precis i Pessac-Leagnanregionen. Boendet fick oss verkligen att komma ner i var och slappna av. Personalen är lugna och trevliga, och stress finns inte här. Beställ en charkbricka och ett glas vin av ägaren och njut på terassen, svalka dig i poolen. Extremt fina vi hus finns på gångavstånd, så du kan enkelt fylla en hel dag av aktiviteter utan att köra bil. Det var inte så soligt när vi bär där men det kan ju inte hotellet hjälpa, men kan bara tänka mig hur härligt det måste vara vid poolen då. Vi kommer åka tillbaka hit nästa gång vi är i Bordeaux!

Excellent hébergement avec un accueil chaleureux et sympathique, la chambre était spacieuse, très propre agrémentée d’unune décoration de très bon goût, le petit déjeuner goûteux et à volonté, la vue de la terrasse magnifique au milieu du vignoble avec en contre bas la piscine, l’atmosphère calme et feutrée donnait l’impression d’être chez soi avec tout le confort et les commodités d’un hôtel, je recommande +++
