The drive to Boothbay Harbour from the closest international airport in Portland, Maine takes about about 1.25 hours Take the train from Boston or Portland and rent a car in Brunswick for a scenic 45-minute drive down the peninsula to Boothbay Harbour. The town comes alive in the spring and summer. Visit in the winter for a cold and quiet but wonderful holiday experience.

Do not stay here. First room, no heat. Was moved to another room, found a bedbug and a large blood stain on the bed sheet. We stayed in this hotel previously, had a better experience, no issues. I would not stay here again.

Check in was a nightmare. Key machine did not work and it took over an hour to get in to a room where the key only worked once. After finally getting in I was assigned a different room as we couldn’t get the key to work.
