"Les lodges de socrate est un hébergement exceptionnel. Une decoration magnifique, les chambres au top ,une literie que vous n aurez pas envie de quitter.bien insonorisé. Une salle de musculation, sauna . Et le personnel d une tres grande gentillesse . Je recommande vivement "

"Check in was easy with no issues, nice friendly/helpful staff. Restaurant adjacent, Hippopotamus, which staff recommended and was very good. Did not eat breakfast at hotel so no comment. plenty of free parking at hotel. "

"check in good person helpful key card didnt work when arrived at room further faffing to get it sorted another room allocated that key card not 100% either it was flashing orange and didnt alliw reaccess so had to b opened from inside everytime 🙄☹️"

"It is difficult to find somewhere to eat as a lot of restaurants etc have closed down There is parking at the hotel on a first come basis after that parking around the hotel is very limited "

"The room was small but adequate . The air conditioner wasn’t working , only blew hot air and as it had been 27 degrees that day it was a very hot unpleasant night . We had to sleep with window open , the road noise was awful and the a car alarm went off . We hardly slept . The light switch on the bedside light was broken so I couldn’t switch it on to read . All in all an awful night with not much sleep . With a very long drive back to the uk the next day it wasn’t ideal . Teception was closed...

"Parking was easy. The hotel is old and not well maintained. Staff was very nice and personable. The room prices are very low. So if you just need an inexpensive place to sleep it is very good, There are several reasonable restaurants very nearby. They do have a “buffet” breakfast. But it was just baguettes, croissants, bread for toasting. Yogurt and cornflakes with milk. But at least there were fresh. "
