A well located hotel with lovely staff

Welcoming and helpful staff both on reception and during breakfast. The room was spotless and well equipped although there should be a couple of bottles of water in the room. There was 2 glasses in the fridge but no water on a hot day. Otherwise it was great.

Great but one flaw

Stayed for a night on our way back to Calais, it turns out this is a popular thing to do at this hotel as it was very busy. The hotel is in a great location, clean and very comfy beds. Staff are really friendly and helpful. The one thing that lets this place down is the breakfast experience. Food was good enough but the area where it is served can’t cope with a lot of people. Lack of tables, queues for food and plates weren’t replenished quick enough. However, above all, this place was great and we’d definitely start again, we’ll just try to get to breakfast before everyone else.

Perfect for family stopover

We had a stop off en route south. The family room had perfect facilities with two single beds for the children and a large double. Also a fridge and microwave to prepare snacks or breakfast. Just what we needed with a child needing specialist food.

The rooms were clean and already set up for the family. Having 2 neighbouring rooms allocated was very useful with 4 kids. Breakfast had something for everyone. In walking distance of the old town made it a great location.

The room was spacious and comfortable, the shower/sink area is small. The staff was very friendly and there was a nice coffee machine in the lobby with free coffee, which we appreciated. The location was not great and you only have a strip of restaurants nearby and walking to the city center was far, so we drove and parked there, but the hotel area felt safe.

Very easy to get to and good parking options. (We found free street parking around the building but there is also a parking garage). The room was clean and comfortable for our family of 4. Great breakfast ( added cost). We walked to downtown Rouen as well as good dinner options along the Seine.

The hotel was good, room was spacious and beds were confortable. The only real improvement can be in the bathroom, the toilet was in another room in respect to the shower/tube that was in another part of the room, honestly not the best

We appreciate owners front desk helped us to get a cab. when our Uber did not show up. The couch pull out was 2 smaller cots and they were squeaky and not very comfortable (lumpy). When we stayed here in January, the pullout couch was 1 bed and it was very comfortable.

Very nice

We used this as a stopover on our way through to the Alps, and was perfect for this. Easy to get to, secure underground parking (additional charge but worth it for peace of mind). Family room perfect for us with two boys who were happy to share a large double bed. Room was clean and fresh, had all we needed. No restaurant as such unless you're looking for pizza, but plenty of choice for dinner just a short walk away by the river. Breakfast was very good, nice selection and good quality. Overall very happy with our one night stay, and would be happy to recommend based on our experience.

New and consequently very clean throughout hotel. Very comfortable room and bed. Thoughtful and pleasant contemporary design in the room. Helpful staff. Convenient mini store for food in reception area. Breakfast is fine. Parking is paid but it's typical in the city. Location is not the most convenient to get to city center but can't have everything. All in all very pleasant stay. First time in Novotel, now will be looking for novotels for further stays.

Nice Hotel Near Historic Rouen

Novotel Suites is a modern, comfortable hotel that sits across from the Seine and is close to the historic district of Rouen. The front desk staff spoke excellent English and were very accommodating. We arrived before check-in time, but they arranged for our room to be readied while we parked our car in their secured underground lot. Our room was roomy and clean with a nice bathroom and comfy bed. We enjoyed a late lunch at one of the many restaurants and bars across the street along the riverwalk. Later on we walked over to the historic district to view the famous cathedral and the site of Joan of Arc's execution. We took advantage of the express check out the next morning.
