"Our third stay at the wonderful Lefay Spa overlooking Lake Garda. Still cannot get used to the stunning view over the lake, it's quite something. Love this place so much, it is truly restorative for the soul and mind. Staff are quite wonderful, the Gramen Restaurant outstanding, especially as there is a tasting plant-based menu available (very rare). Our only gripe is the Limonaia restaurant where it's a struggle to find plant based dishes on the menu, plus the wine list by the glass is poor....

"Having stayed in the area many times this is by far the best hotel we have found. The hotel is quiet but very accessible for Malcesine via either the tourist bus or public buses. "We stayed at the rooms with a panoramic view of Lake Garda and the alps. The hotel rooms were very clean and had a modern feel. Rooms smelled nice as well. Dinner buffet offered at reasonable price was the best food experience we've had in Italy. Free breakfast was equally amazing. Staff was very friendly. "We really liked the property for its fantastic staff and rustic charm. The hotel is a 20 minute walk into the town but with a few hills. Sadly the hotel is located in the hills above a restaurant/bar that played music very loudly until 12 midnight. Currently you cannot have the AC in Italy lower than 25C or 77F by law and so the room was very warm. "This hotel was in walking distance to the town as well as visiting local attractions. If you wanted a change of scenary, you could walk to the harbour and take a ferry across to the nearest town. The hotel is situated near a beach however if that doesn't suit you, they also have a pool. Cocktail hour is between 3pm to 6pm - recommend having after visiting the local shops 😄"
