"Very comfortable stay in a quiet area approximately 6 minutes walk to the Piazza del Duomo in the city centre. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The rooftop bar is delightful. Breakfast is fairly standard continental style. The Elite room is a touch of luxury and is worth the slightly higher price tag. I’d highly recommend a stay at this hotel in the heart of Catania."

"Rooms are very clean and well equipped! The historic details were lovely! Host was exceptionally helpful! He recommended a couple of delicious restaurants. These restaurants weren’t tourist trap. They were full of mostly people who speak Italian. That’s the kind of place I like to go when I’m traveling. I always keep my translator handy. Each restaurant did have one person who could speak fluent English. "

Please keep in mind that there is no lift, and accessing rooms requires taking 2 sets of stairs. Andrea was helpful with our luggage when we arrived, but he was not there when we departed so we had to take luggage down ourselves. "Fantastic location to central Catania and visit the Roman stadium ruins. Great breakfast on the rooftop patio with views and delicious cappuccinos made by the staff.
