"This is an older hotel but it's very clean and well kept. It's very conveniently located to the ferry. We were able to walk to the ferry easily. It's close to shopping. It was very busy while we were there, but after 10-10:30 pm, we never heard much noise. I was able to hear someone in the next room snoring so the walls aren't super thick. I just popped in ear plugs and went right back to sleep. The people working were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay."

"I cannot begin to tell you how grateful I was to stay here! Please read on to the end! I stayed in the Bavarian Haus for only one night, but enjoyed my stay. "A terrific place that is a close walk to the downtown area but far away enough to miss having the daily crowds near by. Place has everything you need in the room and out. The flowers are gorgeous and bike rentals the cheapest we found on the island. $20 for 4 hrs. Just a perfect place to unwind, read a book, or visit. Breakfast was basic but all fresh food for most part. Highly recommend this place. "
