"Beautiful hotel with a bit of an classic European feel. Very spacious rooms. Fantastic location close to Tianamen Square and metro stop. Staff was very friendly and helpful."

"The room was clean, and the staff were generally friendly and accommodating. However, several issues affected our overall experience. During our three-night stay, there was construction work directly in front of the hotel that continued throughout the night, making it difficult to get a good night’s rest. Our room was also located next to the elevators, so we frequently heard guests talking and passing by while waiting for the elevators. Housekeeping service could also be improved. When we ran out of the two complimentary tea packets and requested a refill, we had to call three times before they were delivered. Another inconvenience was the hair dryer, which stopped working on our second day. We ended up purchasing our own replacement. Interestingly, our friends staying in another room experienced the same issue, but the hotel provided them with a different model that worked very well. It would have been helpful if the hotel had offered us the same solution. The laundry facilities were also insufficient for the number of guests. With only three washing machines available, we had to wait until midnight to do our laundry. On the second day, there must have been some issue with sewage, the whole lobby and the fromt smelled very stongely of sewage. Overall, while we appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the friendliness of the staff, the noise, maintenance issues, limited laundry facilities, and inconsistent service made our stay less comfortable than expected. "A great stay. My only advice is ce to potential guests, is that the nearest subway is a 20 minute walk away. Th walk felt safe, even in the evening, however after a busy day out and about, it felt like a very long walk back to the hotel. However, taxis are extremely easy to find and were also cheap, so we used them more than the sun way in the evening."

"It is in a great location if you want to truly experience Beijing. It is within walking distance of alot of restaurants and shopping. We had some great meals close to the hotel. The hotel has what you need. The breakfast in the morning is a must."
