Short stay - mostly good value for money

Had stayed here before, generally good value for the money and quite comfy rooms, though this time none of the nice rooms were available: a 5th floor room to the front with balcony doors not closing well receives a lot of noise from the street, and an internal room on the 2nd floor is a little dark and there was some construction noise. The hotel should really get some more TV channels, the selection is extremely limited. Basic breakfast included. Plenty of decent lunch-type restaurants close by (university area), nice gym next door.

The location is great. Easy in and out to downtown and the various neighborhoods; easy to get to the airport (under 25min!... I've stayed in other zones and it always take at least one hour). The staff is friendly; our room was small for two people but fine for one. We did not stay much in the room so that was not an issue. Food options are more or less available (we did not find much on Saturday night nearby); it is also safe because of the proximity to the university. There are two very conveniently located express supermarkets and very close bus stops. We loved the location.

Short-term stay

Well taken care of, clean hotel close to universities, restaurants, Transmilenio bus and a large park. Room had a very comfy king-size bed, the building was quiet and breakfast better than at most hotels of this price range. Good value for money. Room was of decent size and bright, it faced the busy 7th Avenue so had a bit of a view, though that also meant that early mornings there was a bit of traffic noise despite the (large) double-pane windows.
