"The Blue star House Hotel is on a 1way street, which is very quiet and peacefull. Very close to lots of restaurants and bistro bars. Close to a couple of shops, and very nice area on the edge of old southsea area."

Only issue was that when we looked up and booked our establishment and room choice, on Expedia’s website, we were offer a buffet Dinner and breakfast on the checkout day. So when we arrived and checked in at reception, we were informed that they do not provide and sort of dinner at all at there establishment. So spent 30 minutes on your virtual chat line talking to an agent, asking why we were mis-sold this half board...

"We loved our stay at the Crab and Lobster. The whole team were really friendly and welcoming. The views from the front of the building were so scenic and the captains breakfast was amazing we had it both mornings. "

"Compact accommodation, suited our needs for an overnight stay. We were warm enough, the room was clean and tidy. Parking is not advertised, there are some small spaces or parking on street is free. There are pubs and an Indian restaurant nearby. Village does not have streetlighting. "

"We stayed one night as part of a cycle around the Island. The beds were comfortable, room was warm , ample breakfast and good cycle storage. One shower had very poor pressure and a door that didn’t shut properly. No shampoo and conditioner, just a body gel / shampoo that I would use on hair. Basic and just fine. "

"I have enjoyed my short stay at the property, newly refurbished, clean and a luxurious bathroom and lounge/dining area. Kettle would do better with a descaling though. Surrounding area very poor but overall safe."
