"We stayed in a family room with our dog. There was a welcome pack for the dog including a toy, treats and poo bags. They also provided bowls, towel and a bed. (Saved us getting the dog bed out of the car) We still used our dogs bowl as she's a miniature. We had dinner in the bar I had mains cesear salad, which was amazing with anchovies in as well as being a really generous portions. "I received a free upgrade to one of the Lodges so don't actually know about Davy Cottage. However, the lodge called Owls Nest was lovely. Spacious, well equipped, clean and really comfortable. The view was great. Parking was directly outside. The road is rather pot-holed (not unlike the rest of the country!) and I didn't like the black towels which left lint all over me, but that is really me being finicky!
