"Our room at Hospedería de los Parajes was very comfortable, quiet and spacious. The staff here are all very nice, and our meals at Restaurante Los Parajes were exceptional. My wife and I had the extensive breakfast buffet each morning, and we also enjoyed two of our dinners while we were in La Guardia. "The staff at Valdelana were fantastic. In October, restaurants are not always open but the hotel staff were informative. There are not dependable taxis in Elciego so it is great if you have a car. The cellar tour and tasting is not to be missed. I will stay here again and again."

"The included breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful. One of the superior rooms we paid for was not very superior and in the attic with no windows at all. We changed down to a regular room, which was lovely, but couldn't get a refund because we prepaid. It was a beautiful historic place and the small plunge pool was refreshing. Parking was close by and very close to Haro and the wine tasting and trails to bike and walk. great base for Rioja wine visit"
