The location is great next to the Starlight Express Theatre which we were visiting. Unfortunately the bar was closed after we’d seen the show although we were able to use the fridge in the lobby. Breakfast was a buffet style and an excellent selection. The room was a good size although the decor was rather dated. Overall we had a good stay.

Nice WE trip & comfortable stay @ H+
In general - very good. TV didn't work, but wasn't required; staff seems a bit new, but they came along and turned out quite friendly in the end; interior is ok, but nothing special; overall quite new and good for a long weekend.

Stayed here after a evening game of football at the nearby Stadium. Everything in the hotel was perfect, really modern and well furnished. My only complaints would be I hoped to have a late wake up the following day however my rooms was on the first floor and the noise from the breakfast was so loud from 7am onwards. The other complaint would be the positioning of the toilet in the Bathroom. Apart from that the hotel was great and I would use again but definitely wouldn’t take a ground floor room!

Great business hotel
I have stayed here severals for business and it has always been a very comfortable stay. Great location, not too far from the city centre but far enough :-)

Hotel was quite nice and the food was very good as well as the service. The only thing that let it down for me is this is still a hotel with smoking rooms (Great if you are a smoker) and i have to say as a non smoker we were given a non smoker room that did not smell of smoke at all however the corridors did smell a bit.

Great hotel with ideal situation to Starlight Express and easy walk into town and through the park. Only downside to room was the very soft pillows even with two they disappear when you put your head down and more importantly no room tea or coffee facility.

Decent place, no nightlife or restaurant nearby
Clean place, a little outdated. Good breakfast selection. 15 min walk to U-bahn. Right next to convention center and Starlight Theater so nothing around to do unless you’re seeing the play or at convention. Hotel has restaurant that closes at 11pm. Nothing else around.

Worthy and comfortable
Beside the star express, close to highway. Location not near to Bochum downtown but can walk to U Bahn station in 10 minutes, services are good and room is clean, the breakfast is great with good variety. It really worth for the money paid. Will recommend to others to stay.

Nice and worthy hotel
The location is not at the town centre and it not more convenient if you are driving. The breakfast is very good and the staffs are nice n friendly. Not kettle or coffee/tea /fridge, pillow too flat are the things can be improved.

Great hotel near the Borussia Dortmund football...
Would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat!! Wonderful multi-lingual staff, very friendly, hotel well-maintained, rooms modern and squeaky clean, in-house pub and restaurant outstanding, excellent breakfast buffet!!!

Dissapointed only one Englush Channel for other than news and about 35 Foriegn channels.Thecrestsurant was good but very expensive . The service was very slow.

Great hotel when traveling with a car
Was in Bochum on business. The hotel is really out of the city center, which I didn't pay attention to when booking, so that's my fault. Tram was about a 10 minute walk away and nearby bus stop is only once an hour. But room was large, wifi ok (had to continually login), breakfast delicious. If I had a car, I would stay again. Without one, probably not.

Nice way to spend the night when passing through
This was just a short stay, one night, and the hotel was good value for money. It had everything we needed with a decent restaurant, good rooms with AC. We just needed somewhere to stay over night and it worked well for us. If you need to get to the city center, it is a bit off.

First time in this city (on business) and booked three rooms for our party via Expedia. Everything was good, the rooms, restaurant, staff and location. Staff were helpful, check-in/out was fast and no extra charge for parking.

lovely hotel with with friendly helpful staff. breakfast was most enjoyable. had posted an inquiry about the best way to get to hotel and they answered with spot on advice and put my mind at rest. always enjoy staying at Ramada, (having previously visited Docklands, London), always nice, clean, friendly and good service all round. thoroughly recommended.

short holiday in Bochum
It is just off the highway so very easy to reach by car. The free onsite parking was very helpful, the parking places are limited but as long as one doesn't arrive so late there should be space. The room was very clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Der Aufenthalt war gut. Frühere Zimmerzuweisung wurde möglich gemacht. Nettes Personal, nur die Zimmerausstattung, ( Badewannendusche Duschvorhang ) nicht mehr Standard. Frühstück super.

Das Personal war sehr nett. Das Zimmer war im Großen und Ganzen in Ordnung. Das Badezimmer könnte besser ausgestattet sein. Duschen in der Badewanne mit Vorhang ist nicht so optimal. Ein Lüfter wäre auch gut. Ansonsten war alles sauber.
