"What an unexpected gem of a hotel. The rooms could have been slightly nicer (maybe some art on the walls or something to brighten the space)? That’s my only complaint. Otherwise, the WiFi worked great, the staff super friendly and the area was well taken care of and very relaxing. I stayed for only one night while passing through the area but can see returning if spending a week exploring the nearby parks and waterfalls. "

"Location was fantastic, Cafe's, Shops, Beaches, Walks & Sunday Markets all at your doorstep. Staff were amazing at every level, very helpful and accommodating. A friendly and welcoming environment. Cleanliness was on point and in my opinion rooms were fairly priced. A character rich building with many areas to unwind and socialise with the option of in-house dining including entertainment on the weekend. Budget friendly in a great location, I wouldn't hesitate to stay again."

"I read the mixed reviews after booking the Toreador Motel and was unsure what to expect. I would totally recommend this motel. The room although small was clean and comfortable. We were there to watch our grand daughters play Touch and as we had an early start the next morning Bec helped us with Cutlery and Crockery etc as the Guest Kitchen would not be open then. After a long day she also provided us with information and a Menue for the local Restaurant who delivered to the Room. Great service...
