"The room was hot, sticky, and smelly. I was planning on staying there two nights with some friends of mine and we did not feel safe in the area and ended up staying elsewhere and losing our money. The room had hardly any amenities, no hair dryer, no iron, nothing. It felt dirty and I did not feel comfortable at all there. "

"I love this place. I rented the same cottage as last time due to the fact the kitchen is so well equipped. Everything is SUPER CLEAN, bed is SUPER COMFORTABLE. TV is nice a large, cable channels are great. There is nothing but great things to say about this hidden gem in DeLand."

"This place is wonderful! Off the beaten path, quiet, and beautiful. Kids were able to play outside safely. The fishing was great this past weekend. The stripper were running the shad in to the shore and having a feast. The staff was so nice and informative. I’m 63 and it reminds me of being with my parents in 1972 and I had to smile. Also my bed was so nice!"

"Disgusting. Everything looked old and dirty. Rust everywhere. Stains on the sheets. I didn’t even wanna shower. The staff was nice though, I will say that. The pool looked ok too. But the room itself was super gross"

"Noise level was bad from the other rooms. People standing outside of rooms smoking. Check in staff was rude and not helpful at all."

"This was not the cabin I rented. I was expecting a unit with a king size bed and a tub, and was very disappointed. There was no one else at the property. The bathroom fan didn’t work, and the kitchen poorly equipped. We were charged for a premium cabin, but was put into a much more substandard unit, and no adjustment in the price for the difference. I’m just glad that we were there only 2 days."
