"Building was very clean and organised, staff very friendly and welcoming. It was a very warm day and the only fan we had was broken, and no other fans to be used, (a minor issue) but only thing that stopped 5 stars :("

"We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms."

"Hotel is room was fair, however there were makeup stain on the dress gowns. Reception staff could have been better, as they weren't very helpful when we asked for directions to the hotel restaurant. Disappointed initially to find out the cocktail bar is closed on the 2 nights that we had booked to stay, didn’t see this on the website.
