"Super friendly staff, nothing was too much trouble. Incredibly dog-friendly including a 'dog welcome pack' and special 'exterior rooms' so you didn't disturb other guests when taking your dog in and out. Delicious food too."

"This was a complete let down. The bathroom had no fan so the condensation was running down walls and pooling on floor. The WiFi just did not work entire stay. The renovations are intense but the thing that tipped over edge was lack of parking and no pre warning of this. Ended up nearly getting wiped on busy road whilst trying to establish with hotel where to go (there is a paid for car park further down road, which they will refund). We were there to celebrate our honeymoon and my husbands birthday and I was in less than a celebratory mood by end of short break. Have stayed at other hotels in area which are far less stressful and chaotic"

"Hotel showing its age but lake view rooms very nice. Clean and tidy but older part of the hotel could do with full refurbish. Breakfast lovely and evening meal reasonable. Drinks very expensive."

"Perfect hotel very close to Bowness centre only a few minutes walk away. Hotel, clean, staff excellent and breakfast also excellent. Parking an extra bonus as this can be such an issue around the area. Would 100% consider booking again. Perfect Boutique Style Hotel."
