"Extremely good value for the location and for a room for 3 (would easily have slept 4 as we had a big double bed plus 2 bunkbeds). We didn't expect 5 star accomodation, given the incredibly good price, and we knew the hotel owners were doing up the rooms one by one. Our room was dated, as we expected, but perfectly good. The double bed was very comfortable and the bunks were fine to sleep on. Bedding, towels, etc spotlessly clean. The bathroom was clean and everything 100% functional. We thought the room might be overly warm (top floor) but actually it was a nice temperature, despite the hot weather! Staff very friendly and accomodating, as we needed to leave bags both before AND after our one-night stay (making the most of our time in Blackpool). Very conveniently located for Sandcastle Waterpark and Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and very near the South Pier tram stop."
